ABOUT

The Border District Eisteddfod Inc. began in 1977 and has been an annual event in Stanthorpe.  Since its inception the Eisteddfod has incorporated many diverse sections in music and drama and in 2014, dance was added to the program disciplines.

Mission Statement

To provide an inclusive event where participants can showcase their skills in the performing arts, gain valuable feedback from qualified adjudicators and be inspired and empowered to further their artistic potential.

In 2015, the Committee dedicated the Eisteddfod to the memory of Miss Joan Smith.  Miss Smith had held the position of Secretary and Treasurer since its inception.  Her dedication and commitment is an inspiration to us all!
